A past of pain
Faces of which
I cannot name
It haunts me today
But I hide away
Hoping that one day
Someone will stay.
Failing to connect
Scared of reject
Another feeling I’ve come to accept
Tears in my eyes
Heart on my sleeve
Smile to the passenger
